أحمد عبد اللطيف روائي ومترجم وصحفي وباحث مصري من مواليد 1978. يقيم حاليًا بمدريد. حصل على الليسانس في اللغة الإسبانية وآدابها، وعلى الماجيستير في الدراسات العربية بجامعة أوتونوما دي مدريد، ويدرس للدكتوراه في الأدب العربي الحديث بجامعة غرناطة.

صدر له أربع روايات: “صانع المفاتيح” (2010)، “عالم المندل” (2012)، “كتاب النحات” (2013)، “إلياس” (2014) و”حصن التراب” (2017). فازت روايته الأولى بجائزة الدولة التشجيعية بمصر عام 2011، وفازت روايته الثالثة “كتاب النحات” بالمركز الأول في جائزة ساويرس الثقافية دورة 2015

Ahmed Abdel Latif is a novelist, translator, journalist and Egyptian researcher, born in 1978. He currently resides in Madrid. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in Spanish language and literature, and a master’s degree in Arabic studies at Autonoma de Madrid University, and studies for a doctorate in modern Arabic literature at the University of Granada.

He has published four novels: “The Key Maker” (2010), “The World of Mandal” (2012), “The Book of the Sculptor” (2013), “Elias” (2014) and “The Fort of Dirt” (2017). His first novel won the State Encouragement Prize in Egypt in 2011, and his third novel, "The Book of the Sculptor" won first place in the Sawiris Cultural Award 2015 session
